Well i'm glad to hear things are going good for everyone. That's awseome. I'm doing good. We leave here in 5 days. Crazy stuff. Ya if you send the package it'll just get sgipped to my mission home. Tell sister Clark thanks and i appreciate it. Haha the mailing system here is so bad that Whitney sent me a letter on Nov 29 and it just barely got here. A month later. Oh yes dad i did run into Randy Evens in the MTC. Ya i saw a lot of guys from both lehi and orem high. It was kinda cool. I also ran into Ian Schmutz. Dad you remember him from basketball as i was a young lad. Ya it's pretty cool. I have tons of friends here now. A lot of these guys i got a long with so well and i'm going to miss them. There are guys from Pleasant Grove and Orem and two guys from Lehi so we totally know the same people haha it's a small world after all ;) But are you guys still thinking of coming here when you pick me up? If so bring your temple clothes. The temple here is so Beautiful and it would be awesome if we could all go thru it together. But it's hard cause we have so much freedom here while typing but we can't email anyone but parents. So it's tempting but i'm keeping strong lol. I love you guys nd send me a picture a the new family pictures through email. I want memory and to see what they look like. But i'm writing trevar. Well i did once but i've gotta wait five days til i can again. But i love you guys and stay safe. Love Your Son, and Studly Brother lol jk....but serious

Hey so i'm still alive haha. Ya we were kinda bummed that we couldn't call on Christmas. But esta bien. Spanish is coming more and more. We got Latino neighbors and they are always fun to talk to. So can you relay a message for me to Amber and Chad and Kyra, Tay, and Larissa. So i can't email anyone but you mom and dad. For now. But when i get out in the field i'm pretty sure i can. So two weeks :) I hope it's not too cold there. It rains here a lot. Well recently it has. But it stays at 75 which is pretty nice. So if it's not too big of a hassle can you send me my Red Vans maybe a sweatshirt and Candy (Something Chocolate). I'm going a couple weeks with out candy and i'm starting to tweek out lol jk. But when you send it make sure to put a picture of Jesus on the outside. I here people don't mess with it then. But here the big day for Christmas is Christmas Eve. Not day. So Hoy es Mi Dia. But dad i dan't know what questions you want from me. So i'll just make them up. My shoe size is an 11 and my waist size is 32 Haha. Wow it sounds like people just have money to give over there in America. Tell the ward thanks for the support and Grandma. We're excited to get outta here and go serve. We may not know a lot of spanish but we know the lord is on our side. But the scriptures are awesome. We've been reading in em non stop. I've never gotten so much outta them then now. If only i could tranfer them to spanish i'd be peachy keen. I love you all so so much. And i miss you guys. And i just wanna say i'm sorry for not treating all of you guys like i should've. Haha i realize now how much you care about someone is when you don't have them. So everyone please stay safe and sane over the holidays ok. And i promise i will. I keep you guys in my prayers.

Here are the pictures he sent this time. He didn't explain any of them but some are obvious.

I'm fine :) and as for becca and kenna. I wear my rasta bracelet everyday and my captain morini tie pin thingy too. I have so many new friends here. The guys are great. We had to teach about Baptism yesterday and we NAILED IT! it was so sick. Or we say "Esta Enfermo!" haha english slang converted to spanish. Gotta love it. Well i'm doing great. Love you guys. The spanish is coming along pretty good. I haven't dreamed in spanish yet. But the elder did and he didn't know what they were saying and it made him have to think which woke him up haha. We went the the store similar to walmart. It was cool. All the elders totally loaded up on snacks. You should've seen our baskets. Total americans. But how are things at the plymale house? How is getting ready for christmas? Bet it's nice having one less person to buy stuff for. Oh and don't bother sending me stuff or anything. It'll just get stolen. The mail system is so unreliable (don't think that's spelled right) here. I haven't gotten any mail yet. Down in provo i got mail like three or four times a week. So maybe i'll just have to convert to emailing. We eat rice and beans and meat all day. Then study. Can't wait to get out in the field. We went to the University and contact and teach. This last week was frustrating cause i can't really express what i want to say in spanish yet. But it's coming. But i hope the holiday season is going good and not stressful. I love you guys. Stay sfe and don't worry about me. I'm doing great and will always be doing great. I've got the lord on me side. Say hi to all my firends. Oh and i saw Kurt Jensen at the provo MTC. He was working on vending machines there and stopped by. Pas!

The Santo Domingo Temple next to the MTC (or CCM) as they call it in the Domican Republic.
The other missionaries he goofs around with.

The recent letter from Jake: Hey everyone. I'm alive haha. I've been ballin it up in the Caribbean. You know how we do. So it reminds me of southern cali here. But more ghetto lol. We got to leave the MTC (CCM as we call it) and we got to go to the university close buy and teach random people. Totally legit. Everyone speaks spanish so it was kinda hard to express ourselves but we did it. We talked to a guy from queens new york. I'm all....YOU SPEAK ENGLISH! haha we placed a book of mormon. There are guys from the U.S. Haiti and Guyana. The Hatians and Guyanese are SO funny. Every night we all teach each other new words in our native tongue. Haha these hatians know how to party. Our classes are right next to each other and they are SOOOO loud. But i'm sending you pics of everything. Don't anyone be sad that i'm gone. It's a good thing i'm here. It's teaching me a lot of stuff. I love you guys and i'm doing awesome. Beans and rice is SO freaking good here! favorite part of the day.
Pics of my Haitian friends and messin around with more missionaries. We have way too much fun. I don't have pics of my D.R. district yet.
Where Jakes headed. Far, far from home! Ok, far enough away from home.
The zone at the MTC in Provo. Fun bunch of Elders.
This is the picture of Jake and his first companion, the one from Lehi, Elder Herrmann. Check out their cool, new missionary badges! Hope they spelled our last name right! :)
